Dear friend of IFTF,

We're in the earliest possible stages of planning our own conference for
interactive fiction, narrative games, and adventure games. Our current plan
is to hold the event in June 2019 in Boston. Andrew Plotkin has the
(scant!) details in his latest blog entry:
http://blog.iftechfoundation.org/2018-03-27-planning-a-new-convention-for-2019.html
and we've started a second mailing list for people who wish to stay updated
on the conference. Sign up here:

Our new IFComp organizer, Jacqueline Ashwell, has written a blog post
introducing herself and laying out some priorities for this year. See her
post to find out how to share feedback or ideas on the next competition.

We also have an update from Jason McIntosh on our accessibility testing
project. The committee is planning to form working groups that will each
create small accessibility-test games, starting with the Inform, Twine, and
Choicescript engines. He details the plan in his latest entry:

Thank you for your support. Please let us know if you have any feedback,
questions, or comments.
