Dear friends of IFTF,

March was a busy month at the foundation: we took on David Streever as our
communications manager, and said goodbye to one of our founding members,
Carolyn VanEseltine. We’re sad to see her go after her tenure on the Board
of Directors, but proud of her continuing work in interactive fiction and
hope you’ll follow her site at http://sibylmoon.com.

Jason McIntosh detailed these changes and more in his March 16th entry.
Among the highlights: we published a new page for our IFComp Committee (
http://iftechfoundation.org/committees/ifcomp/) and are seeking a new board
member to expand our skillset. (Full entry: http://blog.iftechfoundation.
org/2017-03-16-iftf-roster-updates-for-march-2017.html)

Flourish Klink summarized some GDC tweets from board members Carolyn
VanEseltine and Andrew Plotkin in her March 4th entry. (Full entry:

Andrew Plotkin put out a call for volunteers to aid Chris Spiegel with
developing the venerable interactive fiction interpreter Gargoyle. Gargoyle
has received sporadic updates but no major releases since 2012. Spiegel is
coordinating volunteer developers to launch the new release on Windows,
MacOS, and Linux. Windows and Linux developers are still needed. Join the
Gargoyle mailing list (https://groups.google.com/group/garglk-dev) to
volunteer or learn more. (Full entry:

volunteers-for-gargoyle.html)

If you're interested in helping with any of the above or have feedback on
this newsletter, please be in touch. We'll send our next update in late
April.

Thank you from all of us at IFTF for your support!
