[Accessibility-testing] Payment to testers?

Based on last night’s Skype discussion about payment to testers, this seems like a good strategy to me:

We plan on rewarding each tester who completes the whole test course with a $10 Amazon gift card, and will say as much in our proposal to Player Panels.

Depending upon the size of the response we get, we will work out between IFTF and AbleGamers how to split up the resultant cost. (AbleGamers has offered to foot the bill to a certain extent, and our program itself has a $500 allotment that it can spend as it pleases.)

In the (probably unlikely) event that we get so many interested parties that paying them $110 each would run over both programs’ budgets, we’ll decide what our cap is and then randomly select that many testers, wait-listing the rest.

Is this an acceptable plan to y’all?
